He was born in Thmor Kol, Battambong Province, Cambodia. He went to University of Thmor Kol, Battambong. He has fall in Love with one of his classmate girls. Everytime he miss her. He normally sing karaoke to entertain himself.
After he completed his education in Battambong in 1998, he went to work for his aunt in Kompot as a photographer. While he was at his aunt house, he love to sing karaoke. Then her aunt recognize he has the voice and can become a singer. So she push him to enter a sing contest in KomPot in 1999. Then he become a number one singer in Kompot among many contesters.
In 2000, Sen Ranot came to Phnom Penh and continue his education in singing and musician. In 2001, he has produced CD for RSK Production.
In Popular magazine vol. 270, they call him A handsome singer make teenage girls crazy about him.
