Now you see that Cambodian community in Lowell and Long beach are going backward. Many
Cambodian people hope that New Executive director, Vong Ros, will lead Cambodian people into prosperous, but it is actually leading to a total disaster.
- C.M.A.A. building is for sale and looking to rent a small space to cut cost. Now where Cambodian teeanagers, children, and our elderly will find a place to hang around.
Before there are alot of after school programs for our teenagers, children,
our elderly that they can do and meet other people and talk about it.
- About 50 employee at C.M.A.A. was reduced to a few employee. Now they don't even have the money to pay for this a few employee.
- If C.M.A.A. board members are not finding new executive director for C.M.A.A. very soon, there will be no Cambodian community in lowell, ma any more.
- Federal grant does not come to you, you have to go out and find federal grant.
- Now we see only Cambodian community in Chicago, IL. become more prosperous than any
other Cambodian community across the United States. For example, Cambodian community in
Chicago, IL. has killing field museum that is running the buddget about $100,000 to $500,000 per year, but they are able to get federal grant to fund it.
- Now I would blame on the board members who kicked out Mr. Samkhan Khoeun from C.M.A.A, while he was scoring all the point. Then they replace a person who can't score a single point.
- I think, the Cambodian people should find out who are these current board members of C.M.A.A., so we will put them into C.M.A.A. history that help to destroy it like Pol Pot.
I know, jealousy lead to a total disaster. My advice, if you see someone become prosperous, please be happy for them. don't feel jealous. If you feel jealous because they are prosperous, it will lead yourself and your family to become a total disaster.
This is why, buddhism teach mankind not to feel jealous when you see someone is scoring all the point.
The reason, I said that , because I and Dany Meung helped establishing computer lab
for our Cambodian children to surf the net and computer class to teach our elderly. Now the 21th century technology will go away. If our elderly and our teenagers need to use computers for their resume or other things, they can't do so.
I actually feel bad to see, Cambodian mutual assistance association of Lowell is going
backward like the Khmer Rouge did in 1975.
